Cynthia Brown
Vice President, David Robinson Design Inc and Senior Project Designer
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan Cynthia first moved to Florida in the 7th grade and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design (1984) from Florida State. For twelve years she practiced in the profession and gained extensive experience in Interior Design and Space Planning that included a wide range of project types including clients like Sony, MGM and Lockheed Martin.
For five years Cynthia owned and managed her own firm in Orlando designing high-end residential properties. She then transplanted to San Diego, CA in 1997 where she designed sets for a locally filmed television series before joining David Robinson Design in 1999.
By means of open communication throughout the design process, Cynthia enjoys researching design options to bring originality to the project. She recognizes that in order to optimize innovative input to an Owner's vision, she should fully engage the client in a team- approach to design. Always a consensus builder, Cynthia draws from the expertise of the DRD team and other consultants to work toward innovative and harmonious solutions.
